Bart Buckinx, the son of a French language professor and a primary schoolteacher, was born and raised in an educational environment. Working in the graphical art market for 20 years, he has gained great experience as a trainer and instructor. He explains new technology to novice, as well as experienced users, introducing new tools and applying them to real-life situations in a classroom setting. Buckinx joined the startup BookWidgets as a partner in 2013, driven to take part in the quickly changing landscape of education where technology plays an ever-increasing role. Within BookWidgets, he has seen the various ways language teachers use iPads to improve their lessons.
